Polyurethane Foam Filled Couch Cushions Appear Pitted

I bought a 75% polyurethane foam and 25% resin treated polyester fiber sofa and love set a year ago. About a month ago the cushions needed more foam and the store that I purchased them from put more foam in the cushions. Today I noticed that some of the cushions are pitting. Is this a common problem with polyester material for sofas?
