I have a cherry dining room table that has some small strips of wood missing on the edge of the table. Can this be repaired or does the top need to be replaced? If it can be repaired, what do I need to do?

Thanks, for the tip, I'm sure it is veneer so I will check with Home Depot to see if I can do that. I hope it works!

Is it solid wood or a veneer? Because if it's veneer, I"ve seen them build furniture on the "redecorate for almost nothing" shows on tv, and they iron on a veneer strip. Check with Home depot or one of those type stores
