Silver White Cake |

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar in egg whites
Directions
Sift together dry ingredients. Add shortening, milk and flavoring. Beat egg whites and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold into first mixture. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
