Ingredients:
- 3 cups white Minute Rice
- 2 envelopes Lipton dry Chicken Noodle Soup mix
- 3 cups water
- 2 lbs. Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage
- 2 cups blanched slivered almonds
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. ground sage
Directions:
Brown sausage, add salt and pepper to taste, add more sage if desired. Drain and set aside. Bring 3 cups of water to boil, add the rice, and the two envelopes of soup mix and simmer for 5 minutes. Fluff rice, add 1/2 the almonds and combine the sausage. Place mixture in baking dish, top with remaining almonds. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
