Daffodils produce a toxin that kills other cut flowers, so keep them separate when making flower arrangements.

I find this very interesting and would like to know more information on this subject. I was a florist for many years and we used "daffs" in mixed spring flower arrangements every year. I had never heard of them causing any of the other flowers to die.Most spring arrangements last 7-14 days if the flowers are fresh and water changed every other day. Of course some flowers die before others,but as a whole,mixed spring flowers are a wonderful bouquet. Great Granny Vi
