Mix Jello with 1 cup boiling water until dissolved. Set aside to cool. Then add oranges and pineapple juice and all. Add cottage cheese. When this is slightly set add the Cool Whip and stir until mixed thoroughly.
I keep a bowl of this salad in my fridge in the summer especially. Each time I make it with a different flavor of jello and fruit. It's so refreshing that sometimes I have it for breakfast. It's a good source of protein.
This jello salad can be made with any flavor jello, also with any type of nuts and canned fruits.
