Ok, it's Christmas in July, er August! Make these and store them for Christmas or use them hanging in your car.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. white glue

Directions:

Mix together and roll on lightly floured cloth till 1/8" thick. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters or a knife. Use a knitting needle to put a small hole at the top of your ornament to place an ornament hanger later.

Cook in preheated 200 degree F oven until hard - about 1 1/2 hours.

I made these years ago.Back then it didn't call for glue.I have 2 tips.I buy pretty dish towels and put they're kitchen color ribbon.the other, those ceramic rigs that go on the lightbulb,i place one on it.I also add a bit of cloves or nutmeg.

I make these also, but I just put them on wax paper, set aside & let them air dry. After 24 hrs I turn them over & let them set for a few days. Saves a lot of electricity.
