I had gum on my Microfiber and I rented a rug doctor from Eckerds ($30). I filled it with VERY HOT water. Dollar General has a generic form of Oxiclean. Spray gum, wait for a couple of minutes and use upholstery attachment over gum. You should be able to get little balls of it up at a time. I didn't give up until it was gone, re-spray oxi-clean each time. This also works for hardened GAK the kids play with! (08/29/2006)
