My washing machine only works on the spin cycle and there isn't any water entering the machine.

I agree the hose could be pinched, or someone might have shut off the water behind the washer. I hope that's all it is. Good luck.

I know this sounds simple; but what happened to me was the hose (or tubing) that fills the machine (in the back) was pinched so no water could get in.

Have you tried calling the company of the make of the washing machine- often they offer help on what the problem is.
