Ingredients
- 3 cups milk
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pie shell, baked (9 inch)
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
- shaved chocolate
Directions
Heat milk. Mix egg yolks, sugar, flour and cocoa. Add small amount of hot milk to mixture, then add mixture to rest of milk. Cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into cooled pie shell. Cool. Top with whipped cream and decorate with shaved chocolate. Refrigerate until serving time.
