Garden: Tarragon At Sunset

Blue Tarragon FlowerMy husband, the gardener, is always giving me such gorgeous things to photograph! Here is one of my favorite flowers, the Tarragon. It's growing in a pot on my porch and gets watered daily. The flowers are quick to bloom and fade away. They come out pink, turn purple by that noon, and blue before evening.

Each flower only lasts about two days, but each plant provides many flowers, one to three at a time, usually. Each flower produces four brown seeds that explode and shoot into the surrounding area when the flower has finished. I love the sunset behind it that God provided, too!
