Bailey's Irish Cream (Copycat)
I 'love' Bailey's Irish Cream but it's so expensive :-( Here's a pretty darn close tasting copycat recipe to make at home.
Ingredients:
1 cup light cream
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 2/3 cups Irish whiskey
1 tsp. instant coffee
2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender on high speed for about twenty seconds. Transfer to a clean bottle with a tight fitting lid.
Store, refrigerated, and shake well before using.

Baileys as a coffee creamer. Oh yes! We also used to use the real stuff as toping for home made vanilla ice cream too.Ah summertime, get that freezer out. Fresh peach, strawberry, chocolate chocolate chip and Grandma Ethel's vanilla ice cream is so good.

Do you make up the coffee so it's liquid or just use the instant coffee crystals?

Great stuff! I make this all the time. Hubby likes it in his coffee.
