Mom's Tea Cakes |

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
Directions
Beat margarine in a large bowl for 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to beaten mixture alternately with buttermilk. Drop by rounded tsp. onto a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges. Makes 45 cookies.
