Craftsman Mower Stops and Restarts When Cooled Down

My Craftsman riding mower with an 11 HP Briggs cranks and runs fine for about 1/2 hour then loses power and soon stops. After cooling for 40 to 45 minutes will do the same thing. What's the problem?

Perhaps the fins on your flywheel are blocked. It's not getting enough air causing vapor lock on your fuel system. Or it could be a lean fuel mixture.
