Carving Those Pumpkins

By Susan Sanders-Kinzel

Are you ready to carve those pumpkins? You may have already but with Halloween landing on a Sunday this year there is always time to do more.

Here are some sites with lots of information on pumpkin carving:

This site has all kinds of information about jack o'lanterns, carving instructions and more:

This takes a long time to load but the spider design is cute:

This site has 400 pumpkin patterns:

Some of these are pretty awful (definitely not for the faint at heart or young children) but if you want some really strange ideas for pumpkin carving plus some tips and stencils:

There are also white pumpkins that make a pretty strange looking jack o'lantern so you might want to try one of those.

Have fun and don't let the goblins get you!
