Burning Bush Won't Turn Red

We have a burning bush that was planted 6 years ago and it has never had more the 6 leaves turn red on it. I see some deep red bushes in the neighborhood and wonder what is wrong with ours. Is the soil lacking something? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Why won't my burning bush turn red?

BURNING BUSH

Frost and cold do not make a bush turn red. Cold kills plants, it doesn't make them turn color. Sunlight is the only thing that will make you burning bush a beautiful red in fall, so if yours is in the shade, that's why your not getting the results you want. (10/08/2007)
