Penny is a black and tan dachshund. She was the runt of her mother's second litter in August '95. We had both her mother and father and since we had to bottle feed her puppy milk we had to keep her!
She enjoys walks in the local park!
Reading about the back problems of Dachsund causes me to well up still. We had our Ziggy for all of 5 years when he too had to be put to sleep. But I can still, to this day, remember him crawling back under the covers and getting some more shut-eye before I left for work. What a character and a love. Luanne
What a cute doggie! We have 2 dachshunds - Abby is 14 and a red/tan short hair, Jill is 2 and a black and tan long hair. We had another one - Hannah that was a black long hair, but this past October when she was 4 we had to put her to sleep due to back problems. We love dachshunds.
