Besides using the "solar dryer" (clothesline) you can get a spin dryer. They spin at 3000 RPM to wring as much as an additional liter out of your clothes.
I have twins and use cloth diapers. Air drying makes them scratchy and stiff. Plus, in the winter it often rains several days in a row.
I didn't know that "spin" dryers were available in the U.S. Have seen them used in England and they certainly are efficient at removing excess water from laundry. I am sure this would cut the cost of gas/electric drying. Joankay
