You don't mention what type of washer you have. If you have the owner manual look up trouble shooting. It may tell you what the code means. Other wise you can contact the business you purchased the washer from or contact the manufacture and ask what the code means.

You can Google your washer make and F05 code and it will tell you. Probably a sensor went bad.
