Blackie the Starling

This is the seventh generation of the starling family that lives in a little eave of our house on the patio side. Blackie is a male starling, of breeding age, and he is very interesting to have around. He sits on the same branch of our tree each day, and watches me clean the patio. When he gets bored, he will meow like a cat. The cats have learned to scratch at the window to get in. The bird has not yet learned to mimic that sound but the parakeet has.
