Hibiscus Dropping Buds Early

RE: Hibiscus only has one bloom. Post By Sandy (Guest Post) (08/19/2008) My hibiscus bloomed a lot last year, but this spring it got too cold one night and all it's leaves fell off. The plant is now full and lush again but it is not producing blooms, it has one! What can I do to promote more blooms? I have a Hibiscus plant in the front yard. We have lived in our new home abt 18 months. Last year the Hibiscus bloomed tons but this year it's droppping its buds before they can open up. I saw that you can buy something in the store to discourage the bud drop but I would rather do it a cheaper way. Got any suggestions?
