Crush Nuts With Your Feet
To crush nuts with no fuss and no clean up, I put the nuts in a heavy duty storage bag and stomp on them a few times. Does the trick quick and no mess! : )
Source: It's from my own lazy and creative right side of my brain. P.S. It's not a good idea to balance your check book this way.

I'd be concerned about the coating that is inside plastic bags that helps to seperate them when opening each one.
