Saute' the onions and green pepper until they are tender or lightly brown. Add the pineapple, cherries, ketchup and brown sugar. (You can add a little bit of water or pineapple juice, depending on how much sauce you want.) Let sauce simmer and add cornstarch until the sauce is thickened. Pour the sauce over the ham and bake at 325 degrees F for 1/2 hour or until hot.
