Teko (Mix)

Teko is a 1 and a half year old mixed breed. Teko is my grandparents' dog. We were out helping them with their house demolition (ever knocked down a house? SO fun!) and this poor little guy was completely confused as to what on God's green Earth was going on!

It's actually kind of a sad story, the way Grandpa received Teko. See, he had a little dog that had completely captured his heart. Unfortunately, the little guy ran under Grandpa's tire. I won't say any more, other than Grandpa was, and still is, shattered. To try to help him heal, my mother surprised him with Teko.

Grandpa loves the little dog, but nothing can fill the hole in his chest from his true companion, may he rest in peace. Teko loves to bark and run away, LOL. So he has to be kept on a dog run, but probably one of the biggest dog runs I've ever seen. It's strewn across my grandparents' large front/side yard.

He loves attention. It cracks me up when he stands in his over-sized dog house, jumping/bouncing up and down, yipping up a storm, just hoping someone will come pick him up. He's quite the yipper, which makes me glad he stays at grandpa's ;) Teko is a lover and, though dogs this small usually start to get on my nerves, he's tugged on my heart strings. Besides, anyone or anything that helps my grandparents is a love of mine!
