You could try sprinkling baby powder on it, let it sit a while and then use a fine brush, like a toothbrush and see if brushing the powder off takes the grease too. I use it all the time on greasy spots on clothes. Sometimes you have to do it more than once and sometimes you have to brush pretty hard to get all the white powder off.
