Chocolate And Cherry Ring


  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • powdered sugar


In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, combine eggs, oil and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate chips and nuts. turn mixture into a greased and floured Bundt cake pan or any tube pan.


Bake in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Sift powdered sugar over top and cool. Makes 14 servings.
