Boil all ingredients except sweet potatoes together for 5 minutes. Pour over cooked sweet potatoes in a shallow pan and bake in a 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes or until delicate brown.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sweet potatoes, milk, egg substitute, brown sugar, margarine, spices, and vanilla in bowl; mix well. Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole. Bake for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans and marshmallows. Bake for 5 minutes.
