What's a good credit score?

I did mine recently.The scale now goes from 501-990.

700+ I think.

scores range basically from 350-850- the higher the better. Most mortgages require at least a 675 or higher and most 0% car loans require 750-800. Only something like 1-3 % of people have a score over 800. I did at one time but after I paid off all my accounts and closed all but one it dropped to 736. But thats okay because I am not planning to apply for or use my credit anytime soon and I was concerned about leaving acccounts open because of id theft fears.

Above 700 is a really good score. I think it goes to about 850.
