You also have to look at the countertop and floor so that it all coordinates. You could do black, brown or a cherry look if you want a darker cabinet. Or,go with a cream or off white, whichever fits with the green tiles. White will be harder to keep clean. Here's a good link on painting cabinets:

Bring the sunshine in! May be just me, but I would finish bringing in "spring colors", if that is what your green is. Sky blue cabinet bases with banana cream pie yellow doors would be really pretty. And, any seasonal accents (in colors either bold or pastel) would change things up as you want!
My walls are pale yellow and my kitchen cabinets are white with red countertops. What color would look good for the cabinets?

Feng shui says to use touches of red. I'd paint the yellow walls white but you might consider a warm white and do the cupboards in the same. That will make your countertop pop.
We would like to paint our oak kitchen cabinets. I've read quite a bit here about the primer to use. Thank you all for your tips! I am now wondering if there is a particular brand of paint that is especially kitchen-cabinet-friendly?
We would like to paint our kitchen cabinets and also put a back splash on the wall under the cabinets in our kitchen. As you can see, the countertops are a "reddish" color and we will not be changing this.
I saw posts about painting laminate. As you can see by the picture I am working on remodeling this kitchen. The cabinets are very dark/outdated, but are in "like new" condition.
I want to paint my pressboard cabinets. The current theme is stars and stripes. I am hoping to interchange to a vivid bouquet of colors, including red and green. Any suggestions of what color I should paint my cabinets?
I want to paint my cabinets in my kitchen. The countertops are a soft white and the appliances are black. There is an island in the middle.
