Crumb Topped Pumpkin

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • Walnuts, chopped (opt.)

Directions

Thoroughly mix eggs, pumpkin, sugar, spices and milk together. Combine cake mix and butter. Cut in like for pie crust. Add nuts, if desired. Pour pumpkin mixture into 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Serve with dollop of whipped cream.
