I just retired and going through my vinyl record collection. I am finding out the covers are worth more than the record. I am trying to locate a source for clear vinyl tote bag in which a record cover can be inserted. I will use the above to sell records at local events. Any leads?

Why don't you make a canvas tote bag and have layer of clear vinyl over side of tote. That way you won't be able to see everything inside tote bag. You could slip record sleeve between vinyl and canvas. You can buy heavy vinyl at any fabric store. I'd bind off top edge of vinyl with strip of canvas to prevent stretching. I'm sure there are several patterns for tote bags on internet someplace.

If you don't find these covers, buy the plastic storm window cover kits, cut the plastic wrap to fit the record covers, and shrink to fit with a blowdryer.
