Brownie Mix

To Prepare

Ingredients

  • 6 cups flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 8 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups cocoa
  • 2 cups shortening

Directions

Mix dry ingredients thoroughly and cut shortening in. Refrigerate in sealable plastic container. Keeps indefinitely.

To Use

Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups mix
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 cup nuts (opt.)

Directions

Mix and bake in large cake pan for about 25 minutes at 350 degrees F (preheated).
