If you visit the dollar store to buy gift bags for presents, instead of buying a bag, buy a small plastic ice bucket, trash can, food storage container, colander, etc. to hold the gift. For the same price as the gift bag, you are buying a reusable item. You can overwrap with clear plastic, or just tie a ribbon on it and you are giving not one but two gifts.
