Here are a few ideas:

1. You can buy one of the colored wigs, short, blue or another color and paint you face like a punk rocker or something like Kiss.
2. Find an old wig from around the 1970's or so and buy this. Make sure it is hort. Now make a long black robe, some costume jewelry, and dress it up as you like. Now paint your face green or white so that you look sort of sick or dead.
3. You can dress up like a dead cowboy. You just need some face paint, some jeans, shirt, and cowboy hard to make this one work.
4. Many people go as zombies, witches (good and bad), and vampires.

5. Go with someone famous like the Queen of England.

This link will give you tons of ideas. As for me, I have blown up purple balloons and was a grape cluster (hard to sit but still pretty cute). I have also just hot glued some cherrio type cereal to an old shirt and drizzled fake blood from each and I was a cereal killer. You can dress in a suit and cut out printed out pages from law books and be a "law suit". Hope these help.

I highly suggest getting some face paint and trying comic book art on your face! Use some old, plain clothes you don't care for and take a sharpie marker to draw outlines on the edges. It literally costs a few bucks. Check out my version:

My suggestion is to get some costume like harley queen and do some painting on face with tatoo.....

Halloween costume ideas.

Step 1
You can wear a black body suit with nylons.

Step 2
Fill a nylon stocking with some fluff for a tail safety pin it on.

Step 3
Paint whiskers on your face and a black nose with eyeliner pencil.

Step 4
You could be a nurse.

Step 5
Wear a white uniform,and make a hat out of poster board.

Step 6
Put a red cross on the hat.

Step 7
Borrow a stethescope from someone.

Step 8
You can be a witch with a black cape and a witches hat.

Go with something you have always wanted to be! After choosing that, I would start with a look around the house for anything that can be recycled into your costume needs. DIY costumes are always better than store bought!
