Hope this is what your looking for!

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 Tablespoons garlic
  • 1 15 oz can artichoke (Not the marinated ones. It makes it icky)
  • 1 box frozen spinach thawed and drained of excess water
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated

Cut up artichokes, combine everything except the mozzarella, put it all in a baking dish (I use a 8x8); sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, and bake at 350 for a 1/2 hour. Voila! You have dip. (02/01/2006)

Instead of the prepared Alfredo sauce:
You can substitute cream, milk or yogurt with Parmesan cheese added. (05/24/2007)

Applebee's Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip

I had a recipes for Applebee's spinach artichoke dip, but misplaced it. It was the closest I found to the same taste. I've misplaced the recipe, so I'm going by memory. I left off the artichoke, but I believe you can just add that in.

2 packages of frozen spinach, drained and set aside -
Saute in a pan 2 tablespoons of flour, onions, and butter.
Stir in 1 16oz package of soften cream cheese.
Add a dash or 2 of paprika.
Add 1/2 can of chicken broth, let simmer.
Add spinach.

Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Applebee's Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Revised, Revised, Revised
As I stated earlier, I am going by memory.

  • 2 packages thawed and drained spinach
  • Sauté 2Tbs of flour, butter and onions.
  • Stir in 4 oz package of cream cheese.
  • Add a dash or 2 of cayenne pepper.
  • Add 1/2 can of chicken broth, let simmer.
  • Add spinach and 1 16oz package of shredded Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20-30 min. Serve with nacho chips.

I don't put the artichoke in mine, but I believe you can just add it. I also add much more cheese. There is a cheese and I can't think of the name right now, but it has sun dried tomatoes in it. I believe its made by Kraft.

This is the closest I found to Applebees. ENJOY!

fresh spinach
salt and pepper (optional)
ricotta cheese
sour cream
just a little minced garlic for taste
shredded cheese (to go on top)
