A mass of long thin black eggs, probably from an insect.I woke up this morning and found this black mass of I don't know what on my bathroom wall, but it may be eggs of some kind of insect. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yikes! Looks like larvae. Get rid of it:

Step 1
Pour boiling water on them, gather the waste, and dispose of them far from your house

Step 2
Flush the drain with bleach and boiling water

Step 3
Deep clean your shower

Step 4
If you see any full grown after these steps, they can be eliminated with any commercial insect-killing spray.

Larva eggs - yes, probably, most likely. But WHAT KIND of larva? Isn't that the question to answer before taking the step of destroying tgem???

Don't put the, boiling water on it.. Nobody has the rights to disturb the environment..It will automatically disappear from there after growing to their final stage.

These look more like droppings than eggs. Put it in a plastic bag an take it to a place that sells pesticides. They will help you.

They look like some kind of fly eggs.
They can lay up to 1000 eggs at a time.
That is disturbing to find that on your bathroom wall.
You can upload a picture to the Ehrlich to find out for sure.

Terrible answer. Why is the first thought to kill? These look like springtails, not larvae.
