A dish of bacon salt. This is a great recipe for when you're running low on bacon but you want to keep the flavours going. I using bacon salt on popcorn, eggs, salads, meats... anything! It is so good and so easy to make.

Total Time: 8 minutes

Yield: 1 mini jar of bacon salt (several servings)

Ingredients:

Bacon Salt

Steps:

  1. Fry up your bacon pieces as you usually would on medium heat and cook until super crisp, a few minutes.
  2. Bacon Salt

  3. Let rest on paper towels until cooled and completely dry. You want as little moisture and warmth in the bacon as possible.
  4. Bacon Salt

  5. Crumble up the bacon and put it in a food processor with the salt. Pulse until super crumbly. You can also use a mortar and pestle.
