Baked Pork Tonkatsu on plate with riceThis is a highly requested meal that is often prepared in our household. Instead of deep frying the pork cutlets, we bake them for a healthier alternative. This is very easy to make and you can make a lot too! Since the common household does not make this many the recipe will display enough for 4 people.

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Steps:

  1. Add panko bread crumbs in a pan over medium heat. Drizzle olive oil around on top and lightly fry until brown.

  5. Prep your pork. Use a meat pounder.

  9. Time to prep the dipping station. The bowls will have flour, eggs, and Panko with a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil.

  11. Put each pork chop in the flour, eggs and Panko then on to the sheet to bake.

  13. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes (depending on your oven).
  14. In the mean time, you can make the sauce. The ingredients for the sauce is simple - ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce and granulated sugar. Combine all together and mix. Add more or less depending what you like.
