Bath Fizzies

I use a silicone ice cube mold to form my fizzies. I made some with a heart shape, rose fragrance oil and put them in a cellophane bag tied with a red ribbon for my grandson's pre-K teacher. He helped pack the cavities, he was so proud and Mrs. Cole was very happy!

Make the fizzie recipe, "firmly" pack into mold (I sprayed mine with coconut oil). Let them stay in mold overnight and then unmold on a bath towel (to reduce the risk of chipping). I let them dry for another day before they were packaged.

Sounds fun, but I don't know what you mean by "fizzys". Never heard of them, so don't have a recipe. Can you post one?
Thanks.

Sorry it took so long to reply (don't ck Email every day). Rather than sending a recipe-just Google "bath bombs"-I generally use grapeseed oil (cold pressed-at grocery store)., I always spray the water/food coloring on the dry ingredients, adding the water by drops can start the fizzing process.

You can use almost anything for a mold, a S/S Tbsp. tsp, ice cube trays, ice-cream scoop, plastic 2pc Christmas ornaments, cupcake liners etc. Remember if you use anything like plastic or silicone to keep those items separate because they are porous & the essential oils will leach into the surface.
