Be A Cheesy Saver

Sliced cheese in a plastic container.I buy the presliced blocks of cheese. They are what restaurants use, easy to peel off a slice at a time. I have an airtight container I keep it in for easy access. I save money and don't have to unwrap every price I use. I keep about 2/3rd of a package at a time in my cheese container and wrap the remainder up good until time to refill the container.

The same kind of cheese is available at Walmart. 24 slices for less than $3. How does that stack up compared to your restaurant sized block? They also have larger packages. 5 pounds- 120 slices for $8.64. My children love this cheese on grilled cheese sandwiches, so I buy it there often. I also stir some into broccoli cheese rice to give it a better flavor.
