The completed Beach Theme Jar My daughter has a beach themed bathroom and she wanted something decorative to put her mouthwash in, so I decorated this jar with some leftover bath salts I had used for a different craft and was about to throw away. Instead, I used them up for this project.

Total Time: 10 minutes

Supplies:

tinted bath salts
glass bottle
embellishment
mod podge
paintbrush

Steps:

Using the paint brush and mod podge, paint the section of the jar you wish to use for the tinted "sand." Sprinkle the "sand" onto the bottle and allow to dry.

Next, paint the mod podge on the next layer for the "water." Allow to dry. The end result makes the bottle look like the beach with sand and water.

I added a cute starfish around the neck of the bottle from an old, discarded necklace.
