Breed of My Dog?

A black dog on a couch.Any ideas on breeds of my 10 month old rescue puppy from Sicily. Found as an 8 week only puppy. I finally have her from Scordia. Really keen to get ideas on what breeds she might be. She's really intelligent and super gentle. I wondered if she has some Circana dell Etna?

Your puppy is very similar to Italian Sheperd - Cane da Pastore Italiano, but this breed is not recognized as a standardized breed by any major kennel club alchetron.com/Italian-Shepherd
Similar breed: Abruzzese Mastiff, Lupo Italiano, Cane Lupino del Gigante, Segugio Maremmano, Cane da presa.

"The history of the Italian Shepherd begins around 1975 when Piero Accettella (Breeding Little Ranch Cepagatti - Pescara) pointed out that black-coated dogs, average sized with wolf-like traits were living in Italy, particularly in some areas of Abruzzo, Marche, Higher Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria. After careful researches, he obtains a few interesting dogs and, in order to give them an imposing bulk, he introduces molossian blood from Abruzzo. "

Dog is very balanced, able to any sort of training and a strenuous warden, though. It belongs to the group of the shepherd dogs (group 1). Italian Sheperd is applied as a watchdog, a guard dog and utility dog.

General appearance: a medium-large dog with well-proportioned harmonious structure, he is very supple and powerful, though.
Italian Sheperd can be black or white.
This is a long-lived dog with a lifetime of 17 years.

Behavior and temperament: serious and well-balanced, he never attacks without a reason, excellent guard, suspicious and snapping towards unknown people on his territory, while he is indifferent and unmoved outside his property and his master.

But it's better to do a DNA test to know for sure.

Labradors are among the gentlest of dog breeds, and she may have a smidge of shepherd as well. I can't tell the height, but you'll likely have a better idea when she's fully grown.

(She is a beauty, though.)

There is Labrador in this dog. You can do a DNA test to determine the full bloodline.

I would just have a DNA test done to know exactly what breed your dog is.

Only a DNA test can tell you for sure, I am going to go with Lab/Mix.
