Business Name Ideas?

Could you please help me with a name that could follow or before my name, which is Rochelle. This is a skincare business. I am just starting out and struggling with a name. Thank you

I just answered another posters question on the same type of topictrying to think of a business name. In the past, I would just rattled off a few clever ideas and hope for the best for the asker. I don't think that is doing you (the asker) justice.

Are you in the US? If so, I urge you to contact your local small business development center (SBDC) and start taking advantage of their free (and very low cost) services to help you start your business. They will help you with a name that suits what you are doing and will resonate with your ideal client AND one that is legal to use in your state (if you are in the US).

They can also help you with getting a website and all of the permits and insurance and licenses that you may need.
I could come up with lots of cute suggestions, but if you cant use them in your state, or if they would not appeal to your ideal client, they would be meaningless.

I may not be your ideal client, so for what it is worth, I will tell you that I would never buy a skincare product if a persons name was on the label (even Burts Bees is not on my list of things to buy).

I am old fashioned and buy products with names like Dove and Clinique which are old fashioned and give me confidence.

If you are looking to open a service (skincare business), having your name in the business name is also not appealing to me, but depending on how it is done, it may or may not resonate with me.

When I was younger I went to a beauty parlor named after the owner because he was VERY well known in my town and everyone who was anyone went to him. When he died, the name of the new owner had no meaning to me, so I found another place.

Your ideal client needs to find something in whatever name you select and have it resonate with them so they trust you with their skin.

There are many things to think about, which is why I suggest if you are in the US, you need your SBDC to help. If you are not in the US, your country should have some sort of program to help small business owners--research that and reach out for help!!

That will give your new business the best underpinnings possible!

Blessings on your venture!
