  1. Put onions and garlic into the crockpot, spread out evenly.

  3. Pour in chicken stock.

  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, salt, cumin, and cinnamon.

  7. Put the pork on a plate and use paper towels to pat it dry. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture onto the meat and rub it on.

  9. Put the meat into the crockpot on top of the onions.

  11. Cover and cook on HIGH for 6-8 hours or LOW for 8-10 hours. It is done when it can be pulled apart with a fork.

  15. Using a mesh strainer, remove the onions from the liquid from the crockpot. Discard the liquid.

  17. If necessary, remove the bone and any fat from the pork. Place the pork back into the crockpot. Add the onions.
