Curtains to Complement Cream and Copper Effect Walls?

I have just decorated my bedroom and have painted it a light cream (Dulux natural calico). Then I painted my chimney and bed wall a copper patina effect (Craig and Rose paint). So it's basically copper with a turquoise kind of pattern that I've made over some of it. You can see a photo of what it should look like on their site. It is meant to look like a rust effect.

I have a few grey pieces in the room such as a light shade and storage box and I painted my furniture navy. I have no idea what colour curtains to go for? I thought navy, then maybe grey or black with a gold pattern. I have no idea and need help. I spent a lot of time with the paint and I want the rest to come together. Thank you for any help given.

I think I agree with you that a light grey should tie this together. I know black is an excellent color but I am afraid it will make the room look too dark.

Maybe if you can find a nice grey curtain with a light black design then the effect would look great.

Pewter would be a lovely color!

If you need the shades for darkening, I would bring out the navy. If you want it light and airy, I would either go a very, very, very pale gray or the same shade of cream.

I think gray would be the best choice of color for your curtains. Navy or black might be so bold they would disrupt the warm atmosphere created with the cream walls and copper patina.

i would use a peach or apricot color--as light or bright a tint or shade as you like

I would do the drapes in the least color you have in the room. So if you have a small amount of Navy, do Navy, same with the turquoise, just do it the least color, I wouldnt do gray, to dull.
