DIY Living Succulent Pine Cone Decor

Total Time: 30 minutes

Supplies:

• succulent plant
• moss
• water
• pine cone
• mini hook
• string

Steps:

1. If you are going to make the hanging version, start by screwing the hook into the base of the pine cone. For the sitting version, continue without the hook.

 
2. Soak the moss in water, then squeeze out the excess water. You will always want to keep the moss wet so the succulents can grow. Tuck pieces of moss into the pine cone. They will tuck into place nicely on their own.

 
3. Use little succulent florets or take off leaves from larger succulents.

4. Tuck the succulent pieces into the mossy pine cone.

 
5. Loop a piece of string and add to the hook. Hang. For the sitting version, place in a tiny cup or bowl to stand. Spray moss with water once or twice a week to keep moist.

I just started to grow succulent plants not so long ago. I normally make a hanging bamboo and coconut planter to grow mine in. They are so easy to grow and look great growing in everything.l
