Decorating Old Windows

Decorating Old Windows - recycled window decorated with glass gem flowersYou can purchase old windows or scavenge from neighborhood trash days. I used Dollar Store glass gems to decorate. They come in all colors. GE Silicone II was used to place each gem. Now I hang it on my screen porch and the sun hits the glass and illuminates the gems.

Total Time: 2-3 hours, stretched our

Yield: 1 window

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Clean both sides of an old window; let dry
  2. Come up with a flower pattern. I used 6 gems for each flower's petals and one in the center.
  3. Glue as many as you want onto the window.
  4. Hang it inside or outside on a porch from chains.
