Dish Detergent and Grits for Ants

I have 2 ways. I used to live way out in the country and have ants everywhere and both of these worked every time. And they are very safe.

  1. Dish detergent and water into a spray bottle. They drown because they are unable to get out of the water due to the soap.

  2. Grits. Uncooked Grits. This is good for destroying a whole ant pile. Pour the uncooked grits on the ant pile or along baseboards of your house and the ants take them back to the colony, eat them and blow up due to the expanding of the grit.
