How often does he get off the leash? If he is tied up all the time, the poor dog is bored to tears and is chewing out of frustration. Dogs are social animals and need attention and exercise. Take him for walks and play with him - you might find that solves the problem.

The reason your dog chews on everything is because you treat him as an "outside" dog. Dogs are meant to be part of a pack, that is, you and your family. He is bored and unhappy spending all his time tied up on a chain.

Does he get exercise? Do you spend time playing with him, walking him? That's the answer. Time and love will cure this. Why have a dog if you are going to tie him up and leave him alone outside? Don't understand it.
