Drop Scones

These scones are easy to make. For lighter scones, make the batter and put in fridge for 24 hours before using.

Yield: It depends on the size you make the scones

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt (if used), and caster sugar.
  2. Combine well-beaten eggs with milk.
  3. Add to flour and beat until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter or margarine.
  5. Put pan on stove and when hot rub with buttered paper.
  6. Drop in mixture to make the scones to whatever size you would like.
  7. Keep warm between the folds of a clean teatowel.
  8. Serve with butter or golden syrup. Enjoy

For the flour, is that 12 ounces dry weight or 12 ounces volume?
